Prime Prep for NASM CPT ("the app") is an independent study aid for the NASM Certified Personal Trainer exam. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. We aim to collect as little as possible.
The app does not require an account and does not
upload your study data to any server. Your progress — answered questions, bookmarks,
spaced-repetition (SRS) state, XP, streaks, session history, and theme preference —
is stored locally on your device (browser localStorage on
web, app storage on mobile). You can export or clear it at any time from Settings.
Clearing the app's data or uninstalling removes it.
The app is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, which can include device identifiers (such as an advertising ID), approximate location derived from IP address, and ad-interaction data. This data is handled by Google under its own policies, not by us.
Learn more and manage your choices: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. On mobile, you can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.
Where required (e.g. the EEA, UK), the app presents a consent prompt via Google's User Messaging Platform before personalized ads are shown, so you can choose whether to allow personalized advertising. You can change this choice later from the consent options where available.
The app itself does not run a separate third-party analytics SDK. Aggregate, non-identifying ad-performance metrics may be available to us through the AdMob dashboard.
The app is intended for adults preparing for a professional certification and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We do not sell your personal information. The only third party that processes data in connection with the app is Google (for advertising), as described above.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
